It all started long, long ago, in the tiny town of Springdale. A once-great band named DCV had come to an end, having lost their lead singer/guitarist, Steve Earle. Jason Earle, Gavin Goudie, and Alex Goudie (the remaining members of DCV), felt an urge to keep their music talent alive, and thus planned to form a new band. With Jason on the drums, Gavin on the guitar, and Alex on the bass and singing, things seemed like they just might work out. However, Alex wasn't up for playing bass and singing at the same time, so he volunteered to take up lead vocals instead. This left Jason and Gavin pondering about who would play bass. They then found the answers to all their problems...Mr. Joshua Locke. This guy can belt out bass lines like a madman. After jamming with the guys, it was clear that Josh was a keeper. So, it was on that very day, somewhere in Springdale, sometime ago, that The What Fours was formed.
